Photoshop, Mobile, Adobe, App, Freeware So i bet if you are like me, you use Photoshop quite allot, although I must admit I am no good at the thing but i do try and I am willing to learn the basics, so it is with great pleasure that I let everyone know about Photoshop for mobile.
Adobe has unveiled Photoshop.com application for mobile phones, or to be more exact, for iPhone, so if you don't have an iPhone then you're out of luck like myself here, hopefully in the coming months Adobe will wise up and support other platforms instead of sucking up on the Apple koolaid. Good news? The application is free of charge, users can edit and apply effects to photos easily along with the option to share with friends, it would be sweet if the app is not too limited to the basics. Users also get a free Photoshop.com account which enables photo sharing and data back up, a reasonable 2GB of free storage is available but no word on whether or not you can upgrade the size via a premium subscription.
"As the digital imaging leader, Adobe is excited to bring Photoshop.com Mobile to iPhone users," said Doug Mack, vice president and general manager of Consumer and Hosted Solutions at Adobe. "Now, with access to powerful editing and sharing tools, iPhone users are armed with the resources to document all of life's unexpected moments, make them look their best and then re-live those memories with friends and family."So what I think? It's a good idea on Adobe's side to create a mobile version of Photoshop, but they need to look towards other platforms sooner rather than later, also expect a paid version of the application should ever take off, why wouldn't it thought? Update: There is a Windows Mobile version fortunately Via: [Slashphone]
