We first mentioned the Samsung Blue Earth way back in February, surprisingly it too Samsung this long to get the thing out the door, but who cares really, if the handset is good the it's a sure win for Samsung and a win for the environment if it helps in anyway. The Blue Earth is made from Post Consumer Materials, which is basically discarded water bottles, if you want me to get a little deeper then PCM comes from recycled household items such as paper, plastic and rubber, see? You learn something new everyday. On the back of the phone, you will find a Solar Panel which is able to charge the handset, it won't do a good job as a traditional charger so it is good to know that Samsung didn't went overboard and scrap the charger for this Solar crap.
